We are awaiting the arrival of part of our family and the snow for an early celebration. Christmas eve and day will be spent with three Czechs, one Slovak and one Brazilian. So, we will learn about many different Christmas traditions.

Just an interesting story from one of our former Czechs by the name of Vojta. While here he never much talked about religion and only attended church once or twice with us so it was with great interest when I read his email last week where he told me about going to get stamps for his Christmas cards. The postal worker gave him a stamp with the Czech President on it and Vojta told the person he wanted a Christmas stamp not that one. The postal person said they didn't have any and Vojta told them well he wanted one as he was a Christian. Wow!

May you all have a Blessed New Year!
